Depaul Nightstop UK

Depaul Nightstop UK is a service of Depaul UK and supports a network of accredited Nightstop services throughout the United Kingdom, each providing safe emergency accommodation for homeless young people aged 16-25 in the homes of approved volunteers.

In 2010 Nightstop services provided over 8000 nights of accommodation in volunteer's homes, to over 2000 young people. Volunteers gave over 120,000 hours of their time.  

Depaul Nightstop UK provides emergency accommodation to young people facing homelessness. Depaul UK's Supported Lodgings Scheme provides longer term accommodation in a host's house. For further information click here

Staying Safe - An Evaluation of Nightstop Services

The primary aim of Nightstop is to prevent young people from rough sleeping or staying in unsuitable temporary accommodation. Nightstop services provided 8,166 bed nights in 2010 to 2,033 young people. The evaluation highlights some of the success of Nightstop services in over 40 locations throughout the United Kingdom.
